PATERNITY FRAUD: 30% Of Nigerian Men Are Fathering Children That Aren’t Theirs |RN

By Josephine Agbonkhese

Popular Nigerian Pastor, recently divorced his wife, not only for extra marital affairs but having given birth to children that were not his. In 2015, Nigerian women cried foul when a survey conducted by condom manufacturer, Durex, branded Nigerian “married” women as the most sexually unfaithful in the world. The outcry was understandable though, as these are women known for their awe of culture and religion, far more than their counterparts anywhere else.

Four years down the line, the marital fidelity of Nigerian women has again been questioned with a report making the rounds since late 2018 claiming Nigeria has the second highest rate 30 percent of paternity fraud in the world.

Paternity fraud is the pretence that a man is the legitimate and biological father of a child that isn’t his; a woman wrongly pinning a child on a man. In the report’s graphical presentation, Jamaica ranked first with 34.6%, while Canada, the UK and France were on the list with 2.8%, 1.6% and 1.4%, respectively.

As if that wasn’t injurious enough, one Mr Ayodele Ayodeji of Paternity Test Nigeria, a Deoxyribonucleic Acid, DNA, test centre in Lagos, was widely alleged to have affirmed, following the emergence of the above report, that there is one case of paternity fraud out of every four paternity test conducted at the centre.

Although these statistics have not been verified by any institution, disregarding it entirely is impossible as it continues to provoke conversation and, of course, reactions on cyberspace.

The claim too ridiculous, mothers react

“I don’t agree with that claim. It is too ridiculous. I am a Nigerian mother and I am sexually faithful to my spouse. How on earth will I now pin a child that isn’t his on him? How will I conceive such child in the first place?” retorted Ijeoma Thomas-Odia, a Lagos-based mum, while debunking the allegation during a conversation with Vanguard.

“If accusing fingers should be pointed at any of the parties in a marriage, then Nigerian men should be the focus. Most Nigerian women are sexually faithful to their marriages against all odds and will never engage in whatever they know will bring them disrespect and disgrace; such as sleeping with another man,” added Enitan Lawrence, a mother of three from the South-West.

Arguing that cheating is common among men more than women, Thomas-Odia emphasised that the only difference is the fact that women are the ones who bear the evidence of sexual recklessness pregnancy

For Lawrence, Nigerian wives who cheat at all do so either because they have been frustrated by their cheating husbands into revenge, have been pushed to the wall by husbands who fail to provide for their needs but would rather spend money on extended family members, they are trying to cover-up an infertility issue in the home, or because they do not love the men they are married to, but were forced into the marriage by either their parents or circumstances.

Whatever may be the reason for marital infidelity on the part of a woman, the fact remains that she will bear the evidence of her sexual recklessness either in the form of a contracted sexually transmitted infection, pregnancy and/or even child birth; which could therefore result in paternity fraud, as no woman would let her child be labeled a bastard.

Nigerians should not be swayed by unnecessary sensationalism —Pathologist

Speaking to WW on condition of anonymity, a renowned pathologist and Chief Executive Officer of a notable laboratory in the country argued that there is no official statistics to prove that Nigeria truly has the second highest rate of paternity fraud in the world.

According to him, in the first place no reputable establishment will publicise such delicate information about the paternity of a person; which makes any official national data on paternity fraud difficult to collate. “There is no statistical evidence to prove that. You get all sorts of data on the internet.

The regular population does not do paternity test except to resolve an issue of trust or perhaps for immigration data purposes; of which I am also sure embassies will never publicise such information concerning anyone. Nigerians should not be swayed by unnecessary sensationalism,” he added. On whether DNA testing should be made mandatory for all children to curtail any possibility of paternity fraud as some Nigerians now suggest since the controversial report surfaced, he said: “Even in the UK and in some other countries, you can’t do paternity test unless it is a court-ordered test.

So, how does anyone come up with such national statistics on paternity fraud? In France where the report claims the percentage is 1.4%, it might interest you to know that paternity test is banned completely in that country; you can’t do it. So how did anyone get such data? In Nigeria, we do not have any restrictions but of course, a reputable laboratory will be required to successfully and reliably carry out one.”

For families that might still be anxious about verifying the paternity of their children but feel discouraged due to the purported exorbitant cost of the test, he debunked claims that DNA testing is affordable only to the affluent. His words: “Anybody can afford to do a paternity test. It is not a sickness or diseases that its diagnosis will now be expensive. It can be done in any laboratory, but I will advise that we do every test in reputable laboratories. If a DNA test is done in a reputable laboratory, you can be sure it is 99.8% accurate. That is almost 100% accurate.”

Why paternity fraud might be dangerous

Speaking on the likely dangers of pinning a man’s biological child on another man, Professor(Mrs)Ibironke Akinsete, a renowned pathologist who was formerly Chairman, Pathcare Laboratories (now Synlab Nigeria), said occasions such as inheritance and organ donation may arise.

“Usually, blood relatives are the best to do a match for any organ donation. So, if such a need arises and it turns out that there is a mismatch somewhere, the truth will be unraveled by an eventual DNA test. For inheritance, some family might require a test perhaps because they doubt the paternity of a particular child; especially if the father died intestate,” said Akinsete.

Victims pay huge price— Maymunah Kadiri,

Psychiatrist In her analysis of the psychology behind paternity fraud, popular psychiatrist, Dr Maymunah Kadiri, said a married woman whose husband is in a better financial condition than the actual father of her child, might lie about the paternity of that child so the child can get the opportunity of a better life.

“Also, the fear of embarrassment and the consequences of divorce could make her lie about the paternity of the child. Due to the pressure from society to have children, some women become desperate if their husbands have fertility issues, and thus go ahead to reproduce with someone else and pass it off as their husband’s child,” Kadiri said. Kadiri, however, warned that such children risked growing up with issues such as abandonment, lack of trust and also a sense of identity loss, noting that on the defrauded fathers also, the implications of discovering the truth could range from resentment to loss of self-esteem, lack of trust and also, severe embarrassment. Nigerian Man Denies Son’s Paternity, Lays Curses On Wife, “Son Of Baal” Responsible For The Treachery

Bob-Manuel Don-Christian with his family

By Ike A. Offor

A Nigerian man by name Bob-Manuel Don-Christian, who is the Managing Director of Outreach Alliance Solutions Company, has in the strongest of term denied the paternity of his only son.

In his own angry curse-filled message on Facebook, he poured his heart out and cursed whoever the “son of Baal” who connived with his wife to bore their only son.

In his own words as he poured his aching heart out on his Facebook wall.

Here is his angry message:

“For all of you who think for some time now that I have gone berserk, I would like to bring to your knowledge that I have for 12 long years been responsible and a good husband and also a good father.

The man and his wife

Today I would love to go public by making it known to all who think am crazy, to know that for 9 years my estranged wife could not give me a male child, until she had to hire a priest of baal to sow a seed of wickedness in her which she tried to implant in my dynasty.

However, today even the Almighty who knows my heart brought this wickedness to my knowledge and for this I thought it is the right time to set the records straight. If there be reasonable people with a wholesome fear of God, somebody should tell this wicked desperate harlot of a woman to take the child to his father.
A bastard can never have a place in my bloodline. No wickedness done against the chosen of God will go unpunished.
I have decreed and it shall stand.
The evil conspirators will never know peace as long as they walk. I have made a covenant with the earth that every one who are part of this treachery and dishonour done against my happiness will go mad.

The son in question

If I be a chosen of Yahweh, before the fall of September this things shall begin to happen.
If I have served the Almighty with trembling fear and with reverence no man will go free of my decrees”.

Mr Don-Christian is obviously mad and his heart is aching as one can see from his words and this message has generated some viral comments and is going to get even crazier.

The problem of child’s paternity and DNA test has been a very sensitive topic among Nigerians in the social media. This obviously is going to go indeed viral.

Chinese Woman Gives Birth To Twins With Different Paternity |The Republican News

Chinese-woman-give-birth-twin-different-paternity1
by EmagNig
A Chinese woman has given birth to twins from two different fathers, an indication she had been cheating on her husband.

The woman had a set of twin boys but one of the boys didn’t look like the woman’s husband. A DNA test showed that they had different DNA.

This increased the husband’s suspicion and the woman was forced to admit that she cheated on her husband in a one-night stand.

The story was revealed after the couple, from south-eastern Xiamen city, had to register the birth of their twin sons at the local police station early last year. In order to complete the registration, they had to produce the results of a paternity test to prove that the babies were theirs.

The husband, identified only as Xiaolong, had wondered why one of his sons didn’t look like him. Upon receiving the DNA results, he was even more shocked at discovering that one of the boys did not have any biological relationship with him, according to a director at the Fujian Zhengtai Forensic Identification Centre.

Woman gives birth to twins with different fathers after cheating on husband

According to the director, Mr. Zhang, Xiaolong was furious after reading the DNA report and confronted his wife.

It is reported that the wife initially denied the affair, and accused her husband of falsifying the results. Upon being confronted by Xiaolong, the wife admitted she had slept with another man and that it was a one-night stand.

The father said he was happy to raise his own child, but not the one from someone else.

Twins were born with different fathers is an extremely rare occurrence, known as heteropaternal superfecundation. According to experts, the exact odds of the phenomenon are hard to calculate, but previous studies suggest the chance could be between one in 400 pairs and one in 13,000 pairs, according to The Guardian.

Man Kills Four Children, Sister-in-law And Himself Over Paternity Issue |RN

By Pamela Eboh

A father, Mr Stephen Nnadiogo, at the weekend stabbed to death his four children, sister-in-law before taking his own life. The incident occurred at No. 21b, Ntueke Street, Awada Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The children were aged two, six, eight and 10 years old. It was learnt that there has been a running battle in Nnadiogo’s home over his wife’s alleged infidelity and the paternity of the four children. Nnadiogo’s wife, Chika, who owns a patent store, it was learnt, had always used the issue to abuse her husband each time they quarrelled.

A neighbour, who pleaded anonymity, said that each time the couple quarrelled, the woman would tell Nnadiogo that he was claiming to be a man while he could not impregnate her and that he was not the biological father of their four children. In response, Nnadiogo would call her a whore who could not stay with one man. However, the man struck at the weekend when the woman went to her medicine store and left their four children with her husband and sister. In an apparent bid to carry out the evil plan, Nnadiogo sent the housemaid on an errand and then picked up a knife and started stabbing the children as well as his sister in- law until they died.

Satisfied that they were dead, Nnadiogo went and hid in one of the rooms in the flat of a four-storey building where they lived and took his own life by reportedly drinking poison. But when the maid returned, she found the four children and the sister-in-law in a pool of blood.

Petrified, she screamed and ran out to tell her madam at the medicine store that her children had been murdered. Chika ran to the police station to file a report. When contacted yesterday, the Awada Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Mr Martin Mbajunwa, confirmed the incident.

The DPO said their bodies had been deposited in the morgue. He added that investigation into the matter was ongoing. However, it was learnt that Nnadiogo, who returned from overseas a few years ago to settle in Nigeria, had been having a mental challenge. The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Nkiru Nwode, confirmed the incident in a telephone interview.

She said Nnadiogo just returned from Arochukwu in Imo State where he went to for treatment for mental illness. Nwode said that some unidentified substances were discovered where his body was found but an autopsy was needed to ascertain the cause of death. She said: “The incident happened.

The man had mental issues and he just returned from Arochukwu where he went for treatment a few days ago before he committed the crime. “Some unidentified substances were found around where his body was found but we cannot ascertain the cause of his death until an autopsy is concluded.”   (New Telegraph)

SHOCKING: Nigerian Man Finds Out He’s Not Father Of Their Four Kids After 22yrs Of Marriage

depressed-Africanman
He’s a 52 year old civil engineer. And his wife, a pharmacist, 50, both raised four children – 21, 19, 16 and 13.

The couple met in 1993, and married in 1995. And raised their four children to the best of their abilities with all the resources at their disposal… Until October 2017.

That’s when he discovered that all four are not his biological children! After DNA tests at HumGene Ltd in Lagos proved that he’s not in anyway related to the children that meant the world to him.

Here’s the distraught father’s narration of how his world collapsed…

This is my story:

On the 20th of September 2017, my 3rd child who happens to be a female was critically ill in the hospital and the doctor informed us that she needs an urgent blood transfusion.

My wife and I were in the hospital and we both decided to have our blood tested in other to know who has the same blood group with our daughter. But to our surprise when the result came out, we were informed that none of us has the same blood group with our daughter. We had to find a way out as soon as possible.

Fortunately for us, our first son came and he happened to be a match. I was innocent about the whole thing because I didn’t know the implication of a child not matching either of the parent’s blood group. After the whole thing was taken care of, the doctor called me in privately to ask if I was the real father of my own daughter. At first, I was furious but I calmed down and answered him by saying, “Of course, why would you be asking me such question?”

He went ahead to explain how a child can have either the mother’s or father’s blood group. I was confused and I asked him what he was trying to tell me. And he said it’s either I’m not the father of the child or my wife is not the mother because one of us is supposed to match. But since none is a match there is a problem. I didn’t take it seriously because it was sounding odd to me. When I informed my wife about it, her answer was, “Don’t mind that stupid doctor.”

After 3 days, our daughter was discharged from the hospital. My mind was no longer at rest because I didn’t know what to do. I went back to the doctor and asked for advice on what I should do. He told me that if I wanted to be sure of everything, I should have a paternity test done on my daughter. When he mentioned that to me, I almost collapsed because I know what that means. It was too much for me to handle. But I had to be a man and face whatever is about to happen. I asked him if I should do the same thing for the remaining 3. He told me that will be a good idea if I can afford it.

I decided to take the bold step even though it was not easy. I asked him if he has an idea of where I can carry out the test here in Lagos and the cost. He advised me of 2 places and their prices. Coincidentally, a friend of mine told me that he saw an advert on Facebook about a company known as HumGene Limited, that they offer the cheapest DNA Paternity test in Nigeria. I quickly called the number they put on the advert and I spoke with the CEO of the company just to confirm if it’s actually true. She was nice and helpful and booked an appointment for me to come in with my 4 children in order to take samples from us. I asked her how accurate the result can be, and she said 99.99% if am the father and 0% if am not the father.

When we all arrived at her office, she told me to come in alone. She asked me for my story and if I was ready for this because the result could be either way and especially 4 children involved, the eldest is 21 years old. At first, I was scared and she asked me if I wanted to take time to think about it before making the decision. I was surprised and asked her if she doesn’t want money. She smiled and answered me by saying: “ Sir, it’s not just all about the money, I think of my clients’ psychological well being first.”

I had to be a man and I told her I was ready. I asked her when the result will be ready and she said 5 working days because she is yet to start the analysis in Nigeria. So, for now, she sends the samples to her partner company in Canada.

The waiting period seemed like a hundred years to me. When the results came in, she called me to come in for them. I was scared but at the same time, I wanted to know the truth. When I got to her office, counselling began even before giving me the results, I just knew the worst has happened but I didn’t expect it to be all my children that I have laboured for all my life, giving them the best in life. But unfortunately for me when I opened the results all the 4 children were not mine. 3 sons and 1 daughter. I couldn’t hold it as a man, I broke down in tears.

At first, I taught I was dreaming and waiting to wake up from sleep. The trauma was too much for me.

When I got home, I called my wife to the bedroom immediately and gave her the results. She denied everything. I wanted to believe her to make myself happy. I went ahead to call the CEO of HumGene Limited to ask her if she was sure about the result. I spoke with her with an angry tone, but she was calm and told me she is very sure and referred me to other places I can try doing another test. She informed me that although the prices are higher.

I didn’t know what to do and I went to the doctor that advised me to go for the paternity test. When he saw the results, he told me this can’t be a mistake because DNA does not lie and that the 22 loci region is the highest in the Paternity test. I felt more convinced and went back home. I told my wife that if she does not tell me the truth I will go ahead to our church pastor and show them the result. After hearing me say that, she broke down into tears and confession started.

She had all my supposed to be children for the same man. That was why our son had same blood group with the sister. She has refused to tell me the man and the reason why she did what she did.

We are yet to tell the children and our family members. I’m in great shock and don’t know where to start from.

The CEO of HumGene Limited has been of great help taking her time to counsel me anytime I needed that. I need advise. Please, what should I do? Men out there you need to be vigilant.

Here is a short interview with the civil engineer…

Were you always travelling when the children were conceived?

I was travelling a lot, but the maximum time I spend out of the house is 2 weeks. I do not keep track of when my wife gets pregnant.

Do you know the father of your ‘children’?

No, my wife is holding on to that.

Can you have babies?

I have never doubted that. So, I didn’t have any reason to check if I’m medically okay to have children. But I do not feel any abnormality in himself. I will go for a test to check, but I’m not in the right state of mind now.

What do you do? And your wife?

I’m a Civil Engineer, my wife is a pharmacist.

Why are you still living with her?

I am no longer living in the house now, I’m staying in the hotel.

When were the tests done?

Samples were submitted on the 3rd of October 2017 and results received on the 10th of October 2017.

What did you tell the children when the tests were done?

We told them they were going for a general checkup for genetic testing since HumGene Limited offers the services for that.

What kind of samples were taken?

Buccal Swabs.

Were the children not curious?

Not at all. We didn’t give them any reason to be curious.

Who have you told about the result?

Only my wife and the Doctor that suggested the test.

What’s your wife saying?

Just crying as usual and refused to tell me the reason behind her actions, I moved out the next day because I don’t want to be in the same house with her. The more I see her, the angrier I get, and I don’t want it to lead to something I will regret.

Are you not scared for your life?

I’m not, but this question is now making me think if I should be scared, I can’t think straight right now.

What do you want to do now?

To be honest with you, I’m yet to come to a decision. It’s very difficult. I have worked so hard to give the children the best anyone can imagine giving to their children. Your advice please!

Davido In Two Paternity Mess Within A Week |The Republican News

Just last week, news made rounds that popular singer, Davido, impregnated a 24-year-old Georgia University undergraduate named, Amanda. This week, the young lad is in another paternity issue as another young lady, Ayotomide Labinjo, has stepped forward alleging that the ‘Dami Duro’ singer is the father of her daughter, three-year-old Aanuoluwapo.

In an exclusive chat with Saturday Beats, the 26-year-old lady alleged she had a sexual affair with the singer in 2013 and she got pregnant and had a baby girl.

Ayotomide alleged the pop singer had abandoned her and the baby and has refused to take up the responsibility of “taking care of our child.”

Labinjo alleged she met Davido at a night club in Ibadan in February 2013 where he approached her and spoke glowingly of her beauty. She alleged they ended up sleeping in a hotel that same night.  She also alleged that a month later, Davido visited Ibadan again for Gbenga Adeyinka’s Easter show and they hooked up again for a night out and slept together at a hotel in the upscale Iyaganku area of the city.

According to her, communication between them was intact until she told him that she was pregnant at the end of March 2013.

Labinjo said, “In February 2013, I met Davido at a club in Ibadan and he approached me and said he liked me. We became friends and got along. He only came to have a good time then. We left the club in his Range Rover Sports for a hotel around Challenge in Ibadan where we slept together. I left him there the following morning. Before then, I had no boyfriend so I was not used to going out but my friend invited me to the club that night.

“We only met twice in Ibadan and we slept together on both occasions. The third time I would see him again was when I and my mother went to his house in Lagos more than a year after the birth of the baby. He preferred to call me Enitan because that is my other name.

“When I told him I was pregnant at the end of March 2013, he said I should keep it but the following morning, he blocked me from his Blackberry Messenger list. I could not reach him throughout the period I was pregnant. On each of the days we met in Ibadan, he had a police and three body guards with him.

“On the day the baby girl was being named, he added me again on his BBM and I sent him her pictures. He asked me what I wanted and I told him that he should take up the responsibility of the child. But he blocked me from his contact list again the next morning. We named the baby Aanuoluwapo but he preferred to call her Vero and anytime I asked for anything, he would embarrass me.

“My mother was furious about his attitude so she wrote a letter to his father but he did not reply until our lawyer, the late Bamidele Aiku, wrote to him. That was when his father arranged for a DNA test and we went to Lagos for the test.”

But then, a copy of the test carried out at Clina-Lancet Laboratories, Babatunde Jose Street, Victoria Island, Lagos on September 2, 2014, showed that Davido was ‘excluded’ from being the biological father of the child.

However, Labinjo disputed the result. According to her, she alleged she saw Davido giving a ‘big’ envelope containing lots of money to one Alex Sogbola who conducted the test when she entered his office, alleging that the technologist was induced or compromised.

Backing her daughter’s allegations, Labinjo’s mother, Ropo, said she went to Lagos with her daughter to see Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, in respect of the DNA test. According to her, the meeting was arranged after series of attempts to meet Adeleke and following the involvement of her family lawyer. She added that her husband, a professor of sociology at the University of Ibadan, died 16 years ago, leaving her and two children behind.

She said, “I wrote a letter to Davido’s father but there was no reply until our lawyer wrote to him. When he called me, I explained what happened between my daughter and his son and he arranged for the DNA. He said his son told him that he did not know my daughter.

“He later sent his driver to Ibadan to bring us to Lagos for the test. After meeting him, he told the driver to take us to Davido’s house. We met him and his brother Wale, his cousins B.Red and Shina.   Shina told him he would not be a party to this (paternity tussle).

“From there, we went to a hospital, Davido was in another car. I was suspicious of the whole set up because there was no indication that the facility could handle DNA test. My daughter was called upstairs with Davido and the child. My daughter was left outside a door but out of curiosity, she opened the door and saw Davido giving lots of money to the doctor after his father had already paid for the DNA test.

“Davido and the baby’s blood samples were only taken so I asked the doctor why he did not take that of my daughter because Davido’s father had told me that he paid for the three people at N65,000 each. They asked us to come back after two weeks but the result came out after seven days. Davido’s father sent a car to bring us to Lagos again for the result. Davido had left the country then. The result showed that Davido was not the father but my findings after that showed that only blood test was carried out and not DNA test.”

The widow said having lived in London before and having done DNA test before, she was sure that the test carried out was not a DNA. She said he had told Davido’s father that when she has the money, she would go to a government hospital to conduct another DNA.

“I have written Chief Adeleke to do me a favour by presenting Davido on the day of the test. From what I know, hair sample or saliva swab and not only blood sample are used for DNA test,” she said.

When Saturday Beats paid a visit to Clina-Lancet Laboratories and had a chat with Sogbola, the young man said he remembered the case and the test result was genuine.

He said it would be quite impossible for him to be dubious with a DNA result as the samples were taken to their South African branch for testing.

Sogbola said that he had handled all Davido’s DNA tests and so far, he has never had any problems. He also denied ever collecting any money from the music star.

He said, “I remember the case. If I should check the system, I am sure I would still have the details. We also have a sister company in South Africa where the blood samples were tested and if you go to South Africa, you would get the exact same result we gave her here in Nigeria. I have every record and if I bring my records out, I would show you the picture of the lady when she came, the baby’s picture and Davido’s own as well. I remember the lady’s mother. They came in from Ibadan and the samples were not taken here. It was done in Verdic Hospital in Lekki, they paid for home service so I had to go and take the sample from Verdic Hospital. We gave the result out and the day it was out, I cannot remember if the lady was there but Davido’s father collected the result from me. I remember the girl said she was in school and I asked her where she met Davido but I could not keep asking questions because it was none of my business. He might have come for a show in her school and something happened between them. Even her mother’s ring tone then was Davido’s song. Even Davido’s father said that he had been investing some money in them but they should give him some time to get the DNA done so that they could take charge of the child. That was what he said. Before the test was conducted, the man had been sending money to them. He sent a car to pick them from Ibadan for the test.

“The second DNA that was done for Davido’s baby, Imade, I also conducted the test. I can tell you that I have never collected any huge sum from Davido ever since I have come in contact with him. He has never given me even N2,000 despite the fact that he has money. I don’t know what the girl wants but if it is another DNA, then that is between her and Davido. She can have a re-test anywhere else in the world. I am sure she has a copy of that result. Even if there is a foul play here, would I do it as well with the people in South Africa? If I do a foul play with any DNA result, it would not only affect us here in Nigeria but also our office in South Africa. So if they are suing us here, they are also suing our branch in South Africa,” he said.

When Davido was contacted through his manager, Asa Asika, via an email exchange, he simply said that Labinjo’s claim is false.

He said, “Apologies for the delayed response, I have been flying. This is not a true story, thanks for reaching out to clarify. Thanks.”

Nigerian Man Discovers 32-year-old He Raised As ‘Son’ Isn’t His Child

Mr Oscar, and Valentine his ‘son’

A middle aged Nigerian man has discovered that a young man he raised from birth and who is now 32 years old is not his biological son, after all.

The Nigerian man who resides in the United Kingdom, Mr. Oscar, was forced to arrange for a DNA test to determine the paternity of his erstwhile son, Valentine, when his wife allegedly told their presumed son that Oscar was not likely to be Valentine’s biological father.

Valentine had dragged his supposed dad, Oscar, to a DNA test centre in Britain after his mother informed him a month ago that the man who had brought him up for the last 32 years may not actually be his dad.

As a doting father, Oscar had brought Valentine to England from Nigeria and put him through school.

Valentine and his ‘dad’ Oscar at his graduation from university in Britain.

When the result of the DNA test was read to him, Oscar wailed in agony as the results said there was “no per cent chance” he and Valentine were father and son.

Result of the DNA test

Oscar wailed in despair as he asked: “He’s not my son?”
