Man Cries Out As His Church Pastor Secretly Marries His Wife, Pastor’s Son Accuses Father Of Not Divorcing Mother |RN

Tina and Bright Ben; Tina and Pastor Moses Adeeyo

By Olamide Francis

A man, Bright Ben, has accused his pastor and General Overseer of the World Bank Assembly in Eneka,  Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Moses Adeeyo, of snatching his wife, Tina.

Bright claimed that trouble started after his wife of 12 years was made an assistant choir mistress in the church and she moved out of the house with their two children.

Bright said that he had been searching for her and had called the pastor to seek advice on the matter.

He stated that he got to know his wife’s whereabouts on Sunday when he saw photographs of her remarriage.

Bright, in a Facebook post with photos of the alleged marriage of his wife to the cleric, wrote, “As shameful as it sounds, it is a true-life story.

“My pastor married my wife. I’ve been married to Mrs Tina Bright for over 12 years, with two children. I introduced her to my General Overseer of the World Bank Assembly in Eneka, Obio-Akpor Local Government Area in Rivers State. We started attending the church and became full financial members.

“My wife was given an immediate appointment (assistant choir mistress) seven months ago. She moved out of the house with our children before I got back from work. I searched everywhere and called everyone, even the general overseer. Unknown to me, the G.O. was the architect of my problems.

“After some time, he stopped picking my calls and blocked my number. I’ve been looking for her until I saw these pictures yesterday online. He claimed that the Holy Spirit told him that she is his wife.

“Is the Holy Spirit an author of confusion? My wife of 12 years is now his.”

You’re a liar, you assaulted, sent me packing –Wife
In her reaction, Tina, who also took to social media, said that she left her husband over alleged assault and maltreatment.

She said, “Bright wants to make me a bad woman on social media. When we were together, he made me incur a lot of debts that I am still paying.

“He accuses me of infidelity and even disallowed me from pursuing my music career. He once told me that there is no marriage between us and that I am just here to take care of his children.

He promised to make my life miserable, including putting acid in my cream. Now, he’s coming on social media to destroy another man’s name. It is my time to shine.

“He is lying that he doesn’t know my whereabouts. I left his house after he locked me inside the house and kept the keys in his pocket. It was then I packed my things and told him it was over.

“He even told me to leave and that I was only useful for the children. My children got the spare keys, gave them to me and told me to escape at night.

“On the morning of November 28, 2020, I came to the house with a taxi, packed my load and took my children away. I put my children at my mother’s place and went to Lagos to start my life afresh.

“I was never residing with the pastor. He lived on the church premises and I lived in Lagos. Ben kept calling me while I was in Lagos before I blocked his number. He threatened me not to ever marry another person.”

Bright didn’t pay bride price -Ex-mother in-law

Tina’s mother, Christiana Everest, said Bright did not pay her daughter’s bride price.

“When Bright came to my house to ask for my daughter’s hand in marriage, I saw him as a son and asked if he was a Christian. I took him to the village, according to the tradition. He gave everyone their rights, both men and women, except the bride’s parents. When they told him to come and see us, he said that he’ll see us later,” she stated.

Bright denies all accusations

Bright, in a video clip, denied assaulting his wife.

He also refuted accusations by his ex-wife’s mother that he did not pay her bride price, saying that he did during their traditional wedding.

He insisted that he had not been divorced from his wife and wondered why, if she wanted to remarry, it would be to the cleric whom he always shared his marital problems with.

Dad yet to divorce mom -Pastor’s son

The pastor’s son, Peter Adeeyo, told PUNCH Metro that his father had yet to divorce his mother.

He said that he was as shocked as everyone when pictures of the wedding surfaced on the Internet.

“He said he doesn’t want my mother again. The case over the settlement of my mother has been in court for over one year.

“My mum was in Abuja when she saw the wedding pictures. Someone called my attention to the pictures when we closed from church on Sunday.

“My father didn’t inform any family member of the wedding. My dad is telling the world that he has divorced her and that is a lie,” he added.

The pastor did not pick his calls, as his phone rang out; and text messages sent to his phone number were not responded to as of the time of filing this report. (Punch)

Sunday Sun gathered that Ikechukwu and his late wife, Chinenye, had engaged in a protracted family dispute, which warranted their leaving their Onitsha base to the village in Obollo Afor for settlement in a traditional manner. A resident, who spoke on the matter, said the mother of two was taken to a native doctor in the neighbourhood who recommended that the couple should go to a local shrine to settle their marriage issues.

“Before now, the husband wanted a divorce but Chinenye did not want their marriage dissolved after two kids and that was how the issue of going to the shrine for settlement was arrived at though she didn’t know that danger was lurking around.

On their arrival at the shrine, a lone gunman hiding within the premises opened fire and shot Chinenye at close range and ran away leaving her in a pool of blood,” the source said.

The source further disclosed that the chief priest of the shrine was not aware of the couple’s visit prior to the incident while Ikechukwu was seen making some suspicious phone calls before the attack. Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the incident, said Ikechukwu has been arrested while police have commenced full-scale investigation into the case. A community leader in Obollo Afor, Chief Matthew Agu, called on the law enforcement agents to do everything within their powers to make sure that justice is served.  (The Sun)

They were allegedly murdered in the family’s residence at Ocean Parade, Banana Island in the early hours of Thursday.

Although details of the circumstances surrounding the incident were still sketchy, our correspondent learnt that Peter had been picked up by the police.

The corpses were said to have been deposited in a mortuary for autopsy.

Angelina Jolie Reveals What Put Strain On Her And Brat Pitt’s Marriage |RN

Antoinette Bueno‍
Angelina Jolie is reflecting on her final movie with Brad Pitt.

The 42-year-old actress recently appeared on The Hollywood Reporter‘s podcast Awards Chatter, where she candidly discussed why she wanted to work with Pitt on their critically panned 2015 film, By the Sea. Jolie says she believed at the time that the film would improve their marriage.

“We had met working together and we worked together well,” she explains, referring to meeting on the set of 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

“I wanted us to do some serious work together. I thought it would be a good way for us to communicate. In some ways it was, and in some ways we learned some things. But there was a heaviness probably during that situation that carried on and it wasn’t because of the film.”

Terrill, File/ AP Photo FILE – In this Jan. 15, 2007 file photo, Brad Pitt, and actress Angelina Jolie arrive for the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Jolie acknowledges that outside factors definitely affected their relationship.

“Over the span of that decade, I did lose my mother,” she points out. “I did have my mastectomy, and I did then have an ovarian cancer scare and have that surgery as well, and other things of course that happened in life that you go through.”

“A piece of art can be something that’s healing or something that’s difficult,” she continues. “I don’t know. I’m glad we did that film because we did explore something together. Whatever it was maybe it didn’t solve certain things, but we did communicate something that needed to be communicated to each other.”

During the interview, Jolie also discusses her famously rocky relationship with her father, actor Jon Voight. Jolie acknowledges that she didn’t feel close to her father growing up, which she explains is part of the reason why she didn’t take his last name, but says they’ve begun a “new” relationship thanks to her kids –16-year-old Maddox, 14-year-old Pax, 12-year-old Zahara, 11-year-old Shiloh and 9-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

“Through grandchildren now we’re finding a new relationship and it’s very, very nice,” she shares. “We’ve had some difficulties. Through art is a way we’ve been able to talk. It’s a common language. We don’t really talk politics well.”

In October, Jolie brought daughters Shiloh and Zahara with her to the Los Angeles premiere of The Breadwinner, where they adorably held hands on the red carpet. (ETOnline)

Man Sacks Wife For Moaning During Rape By Armed Robbers |The Republican News

saynotorape

By Ameh Comrade Godwin

Drama occurred in Iyana Ejigbo area of Lagos State recently as a man sacked his wife for refusing to scream while being raped by robbers in presence of her husband.

The incident, which happened around Bello Street left many people in confusion.

It was gathered that the heavily armed gunmen had invaded their house around 3am and demanded for money.

DAILY POST gathered that the man, whose identity was given as Baba Eneh, a native of Owukpa in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State told the robbers that he only had N3’500 at home.

A resident of the area hinted our reporter that Baba Eneh, a road transporter begged the robbers to leave them after collecting the money, saying that they just got married and trying to settle down.

Angered by the man’s inability to provide money, the robbers descended on the wife and started raping her.

Drama occurred during the incident as instead of the woman to scream for help, she was moaning in excitement.

“Instead of her to cry for help, she was busy making some funny sounds, an indication that she was enjoying the sex, even in the presence of her husband,” the source said.

After the robbery incident, the man reportedly ordered her to leave the house on the ground that she disgraced him.

According to the source, it is against the gods of Owukpa for a married woman to sleep with another man.

The man, who was apparently afraid of dying, asked the wife to return to her village until the necessary sacrifices are done.

When DAILY POST contacted the chairman of Owukpa Youths Ambassador chairman in Lagos, Samuel Adikwu, he said the group was aware of the development but failed to give further details because it was a ‘family affair.  (DailyPost)
