I Will Kill Nnamdi Kanu And This Is Why— Asari Dokubo |The Republican News

Former Niger Delta Militant leader, Alhaji Asari Dokubo

A former Niger Delta militant leader, sari Dokubo has threatened to kill the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

The Republican News learnt according to Daily Post, Dokubo said that the struggle for the actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra has been compromised by the IPOB leader.

In a video he shared on Facebook on Wednesday morning, he wondered why Kanu is running instead of facing the Nigerian Government squarely. He also blasted Kanu for alleged killing Prophet Anthony Nwoko, insisting he has not killed anyone before, even as a Muslim.

He said, “Our fellow Biafrans, in this period of darkness, a few people have decided to thrash our struggle in the blood of our own people.

So that they will become Supreme leaders, saviours and messiahs.

We didn’t see the red flag, the signals were always there but some people saw it before us.

“But because we believed that Biafra must be achieved with any means possible, we did not see these dangerous signals early enough.”

Asari, still talking about the assassination of Biafra Prophet, Nwoko, said it was wrong for the Biafran struggle to be turned into bloodshed. He warned that he would not hesitate to kill Nnamdi Kanu if he dares him, saying, “I’ll smoke you out. I’m not boasting.

“I’ ll smoke you out from every hole, every corner. They know me. “If one idiot threatens to attack me and makes good his words to attack me, I’ll kill him.

Michael Jackson’s Former Los Angeles School Vote To Drop His Name From Auditorium

Parents at a Los Angeles elementary school have voted on whether to drop Michael Jackson’s name from the auditorium after damaging paedophilia allegations made against the late pop singer in a documentary.

Gardner Street school’s Michael Jackson Auditorium has become a thorny issue ever since the airing of “Leaving Neverland”, an HBO documentary which alleges the singer molested two boys when they were seven and 10 years old.

Jackson attended the school in 1969, but left after his family band, The Jackson 5, scored their first big hit, “I want you back”.

Officials at Gardner Street school would not say when the results of this week’s vote would be released.

“Following remarks by some parents and team members about the current name of our auditorium … we gave the opportunity to parents and employees to decide on the issue,” said principal Karen Hollis.

The auditorium at the school, in the heart of Hollywood, was named for Jackson in 1989 before first allegations of abuse were laid on the singer, who died in 2009 of a drug overdose.

A 13-year-old boy complained about being abused by Jackson in 1993, but the case was settled out of court. The singer was tried in 2005 for the alleged abuse of another minor, but acquitted.

“The name should probably be removed, it’s not right for an elementary school. The documentary gave a very clear picture of the situation”, Robert Fitzgerald, a parent told the Los Angeles Times.

Another parent disagreed, however.

“People in this country have done much worse, have been convicted and still have their names on buildings”, said Myreon Arslan.

JUST IN: Wikileaks Founder, Julian Assange Arrested At Ecuadorian Embassy In London

Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police after being expelled from the Ecuadorean Embassy, where he has been hiding as a fugitive for seven years.

He is currently being held at a central London police station, before being presented before Westminster Magistrates’ Court “as soon as is possible”.

Ecuador’s president Lenin Moreno said Assange had been “discourteous and aggressive” during his stay and added that he had broken multiple conditions of his asylum.

He said: “He particularly violated the norm of not intervening in the internal affairs of other states.

The most recent incident occurred in January 2019, when WikiLeaks leaked Vatican documents. Key members of that organisation visited Mr Assange before and after such illegal acts.”

He also claimed Assange had installed “distortion equipment” in the embassy, and that he had “mistreated guards”.

The 47-year-old Wikileaks founder was wanted by the UK police for breaching his bail conditions, after a saga that began in November 2010, when Sweden issued an international arrest warrant for Assange, after authorities in the country questioned him over allegations of sexual assault and rape, which he denied.

He claimed he would be extradited from Sweden to the US because of his role in publishing hundreds of thousands of US diplomatic cables.

The hacker surrendered to British police in 2012 and was released on bail within 10 days, but breached his bail conditions after an unsuccessful appeal against extradition to Sweden. He was then granted asylum by Ecuador and allowed to remain in the embassy. (Instablog)

Members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra who allegedly attacked and burnt a police station in Ajali, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State have been arrested.

Five of those arrested were paraded on Monday by the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Mustapha Dandaura at the command’s headquarters in Anambra.

He said the suspects were nabbed by the Command’s Special Anti-robbery Squad after “An aggressive manhunt of perpetrators”.

The CP said, “On February 15, 2018 at about 2:00a.m., hoodlums suspected to be IPOB members attacked Ajali Division, burnt down the station, three police patrol vehicles and other exhibits.

“The suspects equally carted away three AK 47 rifles from the division armoury and injured the Divisional Crime Officer who was on a visiting round.

He added, “Following the incident, the Command’s Special Anti robbery Squad embarked on aggressive manhunt of perpetrators and arrested five of the suspects”.

The CP gave the names of those arrested as Abuchi Nwogwu, 21, Okwudili Nwanne, 42, Maduabuchi Obi, 22, Chukwuedozie Orah, 30, and Ekechi Chukwuemeka, 30.

He said all of them hailed from Ndikelionwu in Orumba North LGA of the state.

Dandaura said upon interrogation, the suspects took police operatives to their hideout wherein one of the AK 47 rifles with breech number KO 358792 was recovered, adding that the suspects would be charged to court after investigation.

Also paraded was a 27-year-old murder suspect, Okechukwu Udensi earlier declared wanted by the police. A bounty of N1m had been placed on his head.

Udensi allegedly killed a trader last year, 38-year-old Ndubuisi Nwokolo on the Otumoye Street, Odoakpu in Onitsha.

Dandaura said, “Following the incident, the command launched aggressive manhunt for the fleeing perpetrators and declared the ring leader one Ikechukwu Udensi alias Ikenga aged 27 years of Azia town in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State wanted.

“Consequently, on March 31, 2019 at about 12:50 p.m., following painstaking intelligence and strategic planning, police operatives attached to the command operation Udoka and Special Anti-robbery Squad SARS raided a criminal hideout at Menax near down flyover in Onitsha and arrested the notorious suspect, Ikechukwu Udensi aka Ikenga.”

“Suspect is assisting the police with useful information that could help in arresting his accomplices in order to bring them to justice’, the CP stated.  (Punch)

Married Woman Dies While Spending Night With Man Who Has Three Wives |RN

court-symbol-of-justice-600x352

The Plateau Police Command has arrested a 42-year-old man, Gundumi Saya, over the death of his married lover, one Mrs. Hajara Markus, who died while spending the night with him.

According to the Police charge sheet currently before Justice Daniel Longji of the Plateau State High Court, Jos, Saya, who has three wives and 14 children, is a resident of Zango-Dinya in Bassa Local Government of Plateau.

The accused, who is being charged with culpable homicide, allegedly committed the offence on November 21, 2018.

The Police alleged that the suspect, on November 21, committed the act of adultery with the deceased when he lured her out of her matrimonial home to have sexual intercourse with her, an offence that contravened Section 368 of the Penal Code.

The charge sheet further said that the suspect intentionally dumped the body of the deceased by the road side, after he realised that she had died in his custody while he was having sexual relations with him.

It said that the accused refused to inform the Police of Hajara’s death, thereby contravening sections 189 and 102 of the Penal Code.

The suspect, in a confessional statement, however, denied killing his lover, stating that he woke up to make love to her in the middle of the night, only to find her dead.

“I have known Hajara before she got married; I have been in a relationship with her for a long time. In-between, she got married and got divorced twice, but we still kept on seeing each other until she got married again a few years ago.

“Whenever I wanted to have sexual relations with her, I invited her to the bush where we will catch our fun, and she will return home.

“On the said date, we arranged to meet at my friend’s place, one Ojukwu, who is also married, after she had told her husband that she was going for a wedding in Bauchi State.

“As agreed, we met at Ojukwu’s house and he (Ojukwu) gave us a room to pass the night.

“Ojukwu’s wife later sent a boy with garri (cassava flour) and kuli-kuli (groundnut cake) to Hajara, which she soaked and took after which she retired to sleep.

“I woke up at 2a.m. to make love to her, but discovered that she was motionless. I quickly ran to Ojukwu’s room to alert him, but his wife told me that he did not sleep at home.

“I called him on phone to tell him what happened; when he came, I suggested that we should report the matter to the Police, but he told me not to do that because I would land in serious trouble.’’

The statement quoted the accused as claiming that Ojukwu advised him to dump the body by the roadside, which they both did, and went their separate ways.

The statement said further: “Six days after we dumped Hajara’s body, I heard some commotion in front of my house and when I peeped, I saw policemen who came to arrest me.

“I ran to the bush and stayed there for three days after which my daughter called to tell me that my elder brother had been taken away by the Police.

“I felt bad when I heard that sad news and decided to surrender myself to the Police.’’

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Jos, Saya maintained that he had no hand in the death of the late woman.

“I did not kill her. But I may not know if my friend’s wife poisoned the garri she gave her because that was the last thing she took before going to bed.’’

Husband to the deceased, Mr. Markus Jagaba, 44, in his statement, said his late wife took permission from him to attend a wedding at Jakandangiwa village in Bauchi State.

Jagaba said he allowed her to go because it was a family occasion and he did not suspect that she was going to meet another man.

“My wife told me she was going to attend a family occasion at Jakandangiwa village in Bauchi State. I did not argue with her. I simply allowed to go because I didn’t know she had other plans.

“I became worried when she did not return home after the wedding and did not respond to my phone calls. I called her family members and was shocked to learn that she was not at the wedding.

“When we did not see her after searching everywhere, my family and I reported the matter to the Police, after which I was called by the Police, some days later, to come over and identify the corpse which I confirmed to be my wife’s.’’

Elder brother to the suspect, Mr. Yakuba Saya, told NAN that no one in the family knew that he (suspect), was dating a married woman until the Police stormed their house to make the arrest.

“I was at home when the Police barged in to arrest my brother. When they could not find him, they arrested me,’’ he said; adding that his brother (the suspect) confessed to him that he actually dumped the body of his lover on the roadside.

“He told me he actually dumped the body of the woman on the roadside, but he insisted that he was not behind her death.’’

NAN reports that the Police have charged the suspect to court on  three counts of adultery, culpable homicide and failure to give notice/information to a public servant.

Saya is to be arraigned on Monday, April 1, before Justice Daniel Longji of the Plateau State High Court sitting in Jos.

Bill Clinton Facing Four Sexual Assault Lawsuits For Fresh Allegations |RN

By Rozina Sabur
Bill-Clinton

42nd President of the United Sates, Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton is reportedly facing fresh allegations of sexual assault by four women, according to sources within the Democratic party.

The women claim Mr Clinton assaulted them while they were in their late teens and working for playboy billionaire investor Ron Burkle.

Mr Clinton helped the billionaire generate business and reportedly flew around the world with a flock of beautiful young women on Mr Burkle’s private jet.

It is not clear exactly when the assaults are alleged to have taken place but they date from after Mr Clinton left the White House in 2001, according to sources within the Democratic Party.

The women have not been named but are reportedly preparing to file four separate lawsuits against him.

There is no suggestion Mr Burkle was aware of any impropriety.

The 71-year-old has faced a number of allegations of sexual misconduct in the past, including his infamous affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky while in office.

Mr Clinton also paid $850,000 to former Arkansas state employee Paula Jones to settle a sexual harassment claim against him.

The settlement led to the House of Representatives beginning impeachment proceedings against the 42nd president. He was later acquitted by the Senate.

In 1999 Juanita Broaddrick, a nursing home administrator, claimed Mr Clinton had raped her while a former White House aide Kathleen Willey claimed he sexually assaulted her during his first term in office.

Mr Clinton has always denied both allegations.

The four women currently taking action are hoping to secure substantial payouts in return for their silence, according to an official who served in Mr Clinton’s administration.

However if their attempt at a payout fails they are said to be ready to go public with their allegations.

Mr Clinton has always denied both allegations.

The four women  have not been named but are coordinating their legal efforts in a bid to secure substantial payouts in return for their silence, according to an official who served in Mr Clinton administration.

The four women currently taking action against Mr Clinton have not been named but are reportedly preparing to file four separate lawsuits against him.

A member of Mr Clinton’s legal team has confirmed the existence of the new allegations, telling the Mail Online: “Obviously, I’m aware of [the allegations] but can’t talk about them”.

However Mr Clinton’s lawyer did not responded to the Telegraph’s request for comment.

“Bill is distraught at the thought of having to testify and defend himself against sex charges again,” a Democratic Party official told the Mail Online.

“He hopes his legal team can somehow stop the women from filing charges and drag him through the mud”.    (The Telegraph)
