“It’s Sad Ways The Igbo Are Badly Treated And Marginalised, This Has To Change” — Phyno

Popular singer and artist, Chibuzo Nelson Azubuike with stage name Phyno wrote on his Twitter account about the ill-treatment of the Igbo in Nigeria and also on the marginalisation that is beginning to become more obvious and clear to him and to a large number of people within Nigeria.

He wrote ; “I pity my people that will travel back to the South-East this Christmas season. Every road is bad. Very bad that 30min drive turns into 6hours sometimes. Even ENUGU Airport is shutdown for maintenance till further notice. How far? What’s going on?

It has become even an open point of discussion on the marginalisation of the Igbo in Nigeria and it appears some Igbo public figures like celebrities are beginning to voice out their concerns.

The region has the worst federal government presence in the entire country. The federal roads in the South east is the worst in the country. There is no functional international airport, though they are statistically the most traveled people of the country.

One viral audio recently release on the social media, one of the callers from the North recounted how the government of Buhari has openly shown hatred towards the Igbo and his effort to exclude the Igbo in his government is solely responsible for his government’s failure.
