The former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the gubernatorial candidate for PDP, has been declared the winner of the gubernatorial poll in Imo state.
Ihedioha, having gotten the highest number of votes and satisfied the requirements of the law is declared the winner.
His rival is the controversial candidate for AA, and the son-in-law to the incumbent governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Uche Ugwumba Nwosu got 190,364 votes.
The third candidate is the former governor of Imo state, Chief Ararume, who got 114,676
There was a lot of dramas in the elections in the state, and serious accusations of election malpractices.
