BREAKING NEWS: Plane Carrying Brazilian First Division Football Team Crashes |The Republican News

A Lamia airline plane carrying  over 80 passengers including the football team from  Brazil, known as Capocoense which was heading to South American football tournament crashes.

Chapocoense football team of Brazil has been a team that has taken Brazil by a storm, rising from nowhere to first division in Brazil premier league. The team is from a small town in Brazil.

The South American tournament been suspended following this incident. This team is the first Brazilian football club to reach the South American continental final in three years.

The airplane crashed en route to Medellin international airport in Bogotá and the cause of the crash has been blamed on electrical failure.

There has been so far three survivors rescued from the debris but rain is hampering the rescue effort.
