Shifting from importation to agriculture and production remains the catalyst for the development of the South East region, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has said.
He told The Guardian that all hands must be on deck for the overall development of the region.
Ikpeazu, who asserted that there were enormous prospects for the zone, described the Igbos as global economic growth catalysts.
” It is high time we fast-tracked the development of Igboland. Our people should invest here at home and by so doing, they will create job opportunities for our people to reduce crimes motivated by unemployment.” The Guardian
