MASSOB leader, Uchenna Madu, told Vanguard that,”the arrest is a diversionary tactic. How can you tell me that Nigerian Police that had first-hand information of the attack were not complicit in the mayhem.
”It is a deliberate assault on Ndigbo. They must have arrested innocent citizens whom they want to parade to save their battered image. The Fulani herdsmen are the foot soldiers of President Buhari. The arrest is trash.”                    Vanguard
