Nasarawa State partners with Universal Basic Education Commission

Three comprehensive special schools where works have reached an advanced stage are funded through the Universal Basic Education Commission and allocated in Laffia, Gudinia Akwanga and Keffi. When completed, the school will address the educational needs of persons living with disabilities in the state


Under its policy of free education for all, while inspecting the progress of work in the site, Gov. Umaru Tanko Al-Makura hinted that the schools will be commissioned by the first quarter of this by the president Mohammadu Buhari. He also said that the school will commence academic activities this year. “I will bring different kinds of people, who would add values to the quality of activities in this school”, Gov. Al-Makura said.

Meanwhile, the federal ministry of education has handed over the newly constructed federal government girls secondary school Kwadeli to Nasarawa state government.
