Boko Haram: Vice Pres. Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo Meets With Foreign Envoys In Abuja

In an effort to help alleviate the sufferings in northeast of the country, foreign representatives in Nigeria met with the vice president His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo in Abuja. The ambassadors of these foreign countries offered to help in the rehabilitation efforts of the government of Pres.  Mohammadu Buhari  in northeast of Nigeria. They also offered to help in the government efforts to defeat  boko haram.

The meeting chaired by the vice president was held in Abuja, and several ambassadors of many countries in Nigeria came to show their support for the efforts of the president to end the terror of boko haram in the northeast. The vice president enthused that the rehabilitation program in north east is something very close to the heart of the president.

And he expressed the expectations that the envoys would work with the presidential committee on rehabilitation program in northeast headed by Gen. Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma. The vice president Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo expressed that his office will be actively involved in the new portfolio attached to his office, which is the  National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

The foreign representatives includes among others, the ambassador of United States in Nigeria, Mr James Entwistle, who led the group of ambassadors to the delegation.  In his remark, My James Entwistle expressed that they understand the scope of the job involved.  And their governments would like to help to alleviate the pains, and horrible sufferings of the people that is going on in the northeast.
