For car fans or lovers the release or news of new brands always raise their curiosity. They wait with all forms of excitement and would do anything to get their hands on them. Here are some of the ones we chose to quench the appetite of some of our fans. They include both 2016 and those that will be released in 2017. Satisfy your curiosity and learn more about cars

2017 Jaguar F-Pace: Is it not enough for Land Rover to be the SUV arm of the Jaguar Land Rover consortium? Apparently not, as Jaguar will introduce the beautiful F-Pace sport-utility vehicle in 2016. The F-Pace evolves styling cues from the C-X17 concept, with some subtle differences. Look for Jag’s first SUV to arrive in showrooms with a choice of three engines: two supercharged V-6s, along with a turbo-diesel 4-cylinder. Like the Cayenne did for Porsche, the F-Pace has the potential to become this iconic British brand’s new best-seller.

◦ Power: 180-hp turbo-diesel four-cylinder, 340-hp supercharged V-6, 380-hp supercharged V-6

◦ Boast about: Owning the first-ever Jaguar SUV.Jaguar2017

2017 Mazda CX-9: Just as the current Mazda CX-9 sport-utility vehicle was feeling a little long in the tooth, along comes a reinvented model for 2017. The next-gen CX-9’s styling fits in better with that of the Mazda3 and Mazda6, and its 250-hp engine gives it the grunt to compete with a marketplace of SUVs that is getting faster and more efficient. Think of it as a Mazda6 in heels. We love it already.

◦ Power: 250-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine

◦ Boast about: Having the first turbocharged Skyactiv engine in the Mazda repertoire

2017 Bugatti Chiron: Does there need to be a more powerful production two-door than the 707-hp Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcar? French boutique automaker Bugatti argues that its Veyron hypercar deserves a successor, and it’s called Chiron. The Chiron morphed from video game figure to production with few changes to its lithe, low styling, and the production model will feature an 8.0-liter W-16 engine when it goes on sale in 2016.

◦ Power: 1500-hp W-16

◦ Boast about: A top speed just 12 mph shy of 300.

Bugatti has announced that it will be unveiling a new hypercar called the Chiron at the Geneva motor show in March 2016. The Veyron successor, which is currently being subjected to the final stages of testing, has already received more than 100 orders, and will make its global debut at the March 2016 event. Bugatti Chiron

2017 Mercedes-Benz E-class: Mercedes-Benz will show off the next-generation E-class sedan in early January at the Detroit auto show, and we’re excited to see how luxury and driver-assist features have been distilled from the flagship S-class. The E-class will once again offer a suite of engines, from a four-cylinder to a raucous V-8, as well as diesel and plug-in hybrid variants. from being among the very first to drive the 2017 model.

◦ Power: Turbocharged four-cylinder, V-6, twin-turbocharged V-6, V-8

◦ Boast about: Semi-autonomous capabilities in a midsize luxury sedan.

Infiniti QX60

Also on Infiniti’s stand at the Cobo Center will be an updated version of the QX60 SUV. Its revised looks bring it into line with the Q50 sedan – with its new headlights being particularly noticeable.

The QX60’s 3.5-liter V6 engine is expected to remain unchanged from the outgoing model. New safety technology will be a highlight, however.InfinitiQ60

Acura Precision concept

Sedans don’t excite auto show goers, though (not as much as the NSX, pictured here). So the Acura Precision concept will be an attractive sports coupe, with a beefy rear end and hawk-eye headlights.

Mercedes-Benz SLC

For its mid-life facelift, the Mercedes SLK is being renamed. It’ll now be known as the ‘SLC’, and will appear in public for the first time at Detroit. The most obvious change is the diamond-style front grille.

Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet

The hot Mercedes-AMG S65 Coupe went on sale at the tail-end of last year, but the performance division is set to chop the roof off ready for the 2016 Detroit show. Despite almost an extra 400lb in mass, the turbocharged 5.5-liter V12 engine accelerates the cabriolet to 62mph in the same time as the coupe – that’s 4.1 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited as standard to 155mph, unless the buyer pays to fit better tyres and increase the maximum speed to 186mph. Prices are expected to start at around $250,000 for the opulent cabriolet. MercedzAMGMercedezAMGCab
